The sign-in page exists again

Going to the login page answered with “Page Not Found”. The screens were all built — sign in, create an account, forgotten password, reset — they had simply never been connected to an address. They are now, so arriving from the main app lands you at a sign-in box rather than a wall.

Signing in takes you where you were going

Click through from the main app meaning to open a particular book or studio page, and after signing in that is where you land — instead of back at the shelf, hunting for it again.

Admins can clear the sample books and start fresh

The admin dashboard now shows how many sample books, chapters and author pages exist, with one button to delete and republish them all. New features get real books to be tried against. Only records the app itself marked as samples are ever touched — an author's own manuscript is never matched by its content and never deleted here.

Sample books in four languages

The refreshed shelf includes work in English, Arabic and Japanese, each with real chapters — so the reader's Translate control is visible and testable the moment the samples land, right-to-left layouts included.

Translate is offered on every chapter, in any language

The Translate control used to appear only when a work was written in a different script from your own — which meant a French reader saw no way at all into a Spanish book. Now every chapter, description and author bio carries the control, and you choose which of the eight languages to read it in. The work always opens in the author's own words, and they are always one tap away again.

Author pages preview for guests

Visitors who aren't signed in now see a calm glimpse of an author's page — their name, a line of their bio, and a soft preview of their covers — with an invitation to join for the full page.

Your studio stays yours

Studio pages, including My Page and its account controls, now always ask visitors to sign in first. Owner-only actions are never shown to guests.

A visible Public/Private switch for every book

The book editor now shows your book's visibility at the top of the page, always. One click makes a public book private again; publishing walks you through the same gentle flow as before. You can change your mind at any time.

The shelf is fully readable — in more than one language

Every sample volume now has chapters to read, and a new Arabic sample story — مقهى الذاكرة (The Café of Memory) — shows the Translate button in action for readers outside its language.

The interface truly follows your language

Every platform label — buttons, menus, screen-reader announcements — now follows the language you choose, including the bookshelf, hero, and admin tools. Books and reflections stay in their author's original language, as they should.

Translate, when you want it

When a reader reflection is written in a language different from yours, a gentle Translate button appears beneath it. One tap shows a translation; another returns the original. Nothing is ever translated without your asking.

Right-to-left, done properly

In Arabic, menus, dropdowns, and popovers now open on the correct side and stay fully on screen.

Tip Jar & Campaigns

Authors can now add a crowdfunding or campaign link (like GoFundMe) alongside their tip handles. Links are display-only — UnMomento never processes, collects, or holds payments.

Read in your language

A language selector now lives in the top navigation. Choose from 8 languages and the interface follows your choice, with right-to-left support for Arabic.

Clear, gentle legal disclosures

Every payment and campaign link carries a plain disclosure: display-only, no endorsement, and you remain responsible for your own taxes and compliance.

Report a campaign

Readers can flag a suspicious fundraiser link. Reports flow into the moderation queue for review and audit.
